Drone training in Mombasa
2 weeks

ABOUT THIS COURSE

This course is tailored for candidates that want to fly drones with fixed-wing airframes.

Why not just stop at multi-rotor drones you ask?

Longer duration, surveillance type drone missions require fixed-wing airframes. Offering more flight time and distance.

Drones can be a huge advantage to agencies fighting natural disasters. They can launch immediately, gather vital data about an emergency situation, and help efficiently relay that information to all agencies involved, all without putting further lives at risk.
Grant Imahara

The course prepares a candidate to add the aeroplane (fixed-wing) category of drones to their license and opens another avenue of drone flying to the candidate.

The course is considered an advanced training module as its application in the field is more advanced than the standard multi-rotor drone.

The fixed-wing rating course can be pursued at any level of a candidate’s training be it as they are pursuing their RPL or added to their already existing Remote Pilot License.

Candidates must note that the theory class is one full day 08h00-16h00 and thereafter will book flight training slots.

**A flight training slot is booked for 2 hours per session and can only be booked at a maximum of 4 hours per day with 2 hours break between each session**
